We don’t generally do documentaries at BMB, but anything goes at the Concession Stand and every so often we will slide in something like our earlier micro review of The Beatles: Eight Days A Week.
Researching In Research Of
Way back in the 1970s - before Ancient Aliens were ancient at the History Channel for in the far future - there was In Search Of.
Micro Review - The Beatles: Eight Days a Week (2016)
“They Were Fresh…They Were Honest.”
We don’t do a lot of reviews of documentaries, but stumbled across this a few days ago and though it would make for a good quick snack in the Concession Stand.
The Beatles: Eight Days a Week is a collection of “found footage” clips, interviews, and commentary focusing on the Beatles as they kicked off the touring phase of their career…
Book Break - June Edition
We love movies…but we also love books.
Each month we’ll take a quick Concession Stand break to take a look at some of the things from our reading stack and bookcases and let you know what we think of them.
Grab a cup of tea, sit back, and settle in for a few books that entertain, enlighten, and in some cases are just guilty pleasures.

Cool Things for Sale on Amazon
While we’ll go where the action is for movies - Amazon Prime, Hulu, NETFLIX, and best of all, our local theater - we are fans of Amazon for general shopping, especially e-books and audiobooks.

Your Favorite Movies…With a Twist
Your Favorite Movies…With a Twist.
So what do we do at BMB when we aren’t watching and writing about movies?
Well, aside from trying to bring about world peace we have fun going to sites like Trailer Mix on Mashable.
Trailer Mix takes clips for movies and reimagines them. What does that mean?
Imagine Deadpool as an Oscar-worthy drama. How about The Martian as a musical? Or The Silence of the Lambs as a comedy romance?
Better yet, check out a few clips for yourself.
Brace yourselves for the return of the drive-in movie theater

As we slowly prepare for the advent of a new normal, industries across the country are scrambling to figure out what exactly that will look like.
The film industry, which was hit hard by the near complete shuttering of movie theaters across the globe, has come up with different strategies to provide entertainment while still abiding by stay-at-home orders. Initially, plans included straight-to-video releases, as the likes of Trolls World Tour landed on demand directly, entirely skipping theatrical runs. But now, as social distancing guidelines loosen up a bit, people in the industry are trying to find ways to put folks in front of some sort of large screen—like that of a drive-in movie theater.
