The Andromeda Strain remains one of the most intriguing and disturbing films ever made. Written by Michael Crichton, author of a few minor books, including Westworld and Jurassic Park, it describes the impact of a mysterious virus on the world and the people fighting to contain it.

One of the cooler podcasts to hit the streets is a minute-by-minute analysis of the 1971 movie made from the book. Produced by Jim O’Kane and occasionally guested by Rory Aylward, both members of the BMB Facebook Group, it is great, bite-sized fun.
